1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small value stored by your browser. CabinJoin uses cookies to keep a signed-in session, remember language and privacy choices and, with permission, understand which product pages are used.
2. Essential cookies
cabinjoin_session keeps a signed-in session, cabinjoin_locale remembers the selected language, and cabinjoin_cookie_consent remembers whether you selected essential-only or allowed analytics. These cookies are required for the functions you request.
3. Optional analytics
After you select “Allow analytics”, CabinJoin records first-party events such as a page, search, trip or yacht view and loads Microsoft Clarity. Clarity provides usage metrics, interaction heatmaps and session recordings so we can find usability problems. Advertising storage is denied. Microsoft may process device, browser and interaction data as our analytics service provider; sensitive form values are not intentionally sent for analytics.
Declining analytics does not affect search, booking, payment or chat. Operational payment and refund records are required booking records, not optional marketing analytics.
4. Your choice
Both choices give access to the complete service. The choice is stored for 180 days. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer at any time; withdrawing analytics consent is as easy as giving it and takes effect immediately for future collection.
5. Retention and access
First-party product events stay in CabinJoin’s database. Clarity data is processed in Microsoft’s service under its applicable retention controls. Access is limited to authorised administrators. Data is removed or anonymised when no longer useful. The Privacy Policy explains your rights and service-provider disclosures.
6. Contact and changes
Questions can be sent to [email protected]. Material changes will be dated here, and we will ask for a new choice when required.
