Payment flows and trust

Clear paths for secure payments and requests

How CabinJoin handles payments for organiser-led trips, direct-owner charters, and supplier requests.

Booking a place or cabin

Joining an organised voyage begins with a request. Once the organiser approves your participation, secure payments are processed through Stripe connected accounts, with CabinJoin recording the disclosed fee where supported. This confirmation opens the crew chat, bringing the team together before setting sail.

Whole-yacht and supplier requests

For private whole-yacht charters, direct-owner bookings utilise the same secure Stripe infrastructure. When requesting a vessel from an external supplier, the catalogue price serves as an indication; final dates, pricing, terms, and the authorised payment route require direct confirmation from the supplier.

Verification and policies

To maintain trust on the water, owner profiles and vessels undergo an evidence review before receiving verified status. While we facilitate these secure connections, CabinJoin cannot promise specific weather, routes, crew compatibility, or future availability. Imported supplier listings reflect source-record integrity rather than real-time availability.
