Bodrum is known for being an affluent and popular tourist destination due to its charming features and unique attractions. The tour will depart at 4:00 pm from Bodrum Harbour. The tour route will also include refreshing swimming spots and sunny beaches within the district and surrounding areas. Also on the agenda for today will be a visit to Karaada Island, a small island in the Aegean Sea that is a hot spot for boat tours and a popular international tourist destination, which was once ruled by the Greeks.
Our first stop for today is Knidos Harbour, a beautiful natural harbour that was believed to be a trading hub during the Roman and Byzantine periods. An amphitheatre, a temple to the goddess Aphrodite, and a 4th-century BC sundial can also be seen. We will continue with our historical journey to the Ancient City of Knidos, a 2,600-year-old historical location that is referred to as the "gate of the Aegean". Tour members can discover magnificent historical structures such as a port street lined with columns, an agora, two ancient theatres, and two ancient ports. Our final stop for today will be Palamutbuku Beach, which lies 25 kilometres from Datca. It is known for its long, pebbled coastline and crystal clear waters. Described by many as a garden of Eden, it has unique green and blue colour tones, and is the perfect destination for tour members to swim and snorkel. There is also an assortment of traditional tea gardens and authentic restaurants to enjoy.
Today, tour members will spend the day in Datca, a port town in southwestern Turkey, situated on the Datca Peninsula within the Aegean Sea. There is an old neighbourhood with stone roads and bougainvillaea- covered walls, along with quaint cafes and restaurants within the area. At the western tip of the peninsula lie ancient Greek ruins, including an amphitheatre and a temple to the goddess Aphrodite. It is surrounded by the shimmering turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, and there are plenty of sights to admire and attractions to discover.
The tour for today will begin at Serce Port, surrounded by steep rocks and cool, clean waters, perfect for a refreshing swim. Glass objects were once excavated from an 11th-century Byzantine wreck within this area as part of an archaeological dig. The next part of our journey will guide us to Bozukkale, in the southwest of Marmaris. The water is crystal clear, and numerous fish species exist, making it a perfect location for snorkelling.
Today, we will spend our day at Ekincik Bay, located on the north shore of Port Koycegiz. It is one of the prettiest and most picturesque bays in the region, surrounded by Steep, wooded slopes, and there is a lovely beach with gravel and sandy textures. Tour members can enjoy a peaceful day sunbathing on the spectacular beach whilst swimming or snorkeling in the refreshing crystal clear waters.
We will start our day at Cleopatra Bath's where tour members can experience swimming through the ruins that lie within the water, along with exploring the ruins on the land. We will then head to Bedri Rahmi Bay, which consists of natural beauty and history. Tour members can admire the lush pine tree scenery and swim or snorkel in the clear waters. Along the shoreline, many hidden Lycian rock tombs can also be discovered and explored.
Today will showcase the area's natural beauty. First on the agenda for today will be touring Gocek’s 12 Islands that are dotted along the coast. Beautiful clear bays, sea caves, uninhabited islands, and medieval ruins can be seen, and if we are lucky, we may also witness dolphins and sea turtles within the waters. The Yassica Islands will be the next destination for today, a group of five beautiful islands within the Fethiye Gulf. There are ruins to explore on the islands and many swimming opportunities. We will cruise to Fethiye Harbour around 4:00 pm for the night. On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Fethiye at 9:00 am. Tour members will be guided through Fethiye's port city, a well-known tourist centre and is especially popular during the summer season. Members can explore sites such as Ece Saray Marina and the Lycian Stone Sarcophagi, and view the beautiful natural beaches of Calis Beach and Fethiye Beach. Many cafes, restaurants, and markets are scattered around the area where guests can purchase souvenirs and authentic culinary delights.
